UKVIA submission to the Science and Technology Inquiry on E-Cigarettes

Last week, the UKVIA made its submission to the Science and Technology Committee Inquiry on E-Cigarettes.

Announced on 25 October 2017, the scope of the inquiry is to “examine the impact of electronic cigarettes on human health (including their effectiveness as a stop-smoking tool), the suitability of regulations guiding their use, and the financial implications of a growing market on both business and the NHS.”

We welcomed the launch of the inquiry and were pleased that the arguments of Vapers could be heard loud and clear in Parliament. We look forward to continuing to engage with the Science and Technology Committee throughout the Inquiry process.
